”I was there two times. As a Gold VIP member from hotels.com I was supposed to have a free bottle of wine by the hotel. No bottle was given "as they had changed the rules". In my reservation it said that I was supposed to have one. They said it was hotels.com mistake, but still when I checked future reservations, the bottle was offered. I don't know whose fault it is, but I would NEVER stay in this hotel again because if 5-star hotel cannot solve customers' problem in a small case, how they solve...

”The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch. There is lots of shared space around the place, and the only distractions are the noisy birds in the morning! Amazing hotel. If I could want for one thing, it would be...
