This is due to the friendly welcoming warm staff - specially Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us, she happily showed us around the facilities and made us feel very special. The fun, colourful vibe and swim up cocktails were a treat and the room with the double bath was one of its kind and so memorable. I would come back in a heartbeat - and hope to return later this year”

”This was a great surprise, expected a normal room over a pub but was amazed on being shown the room, it was a huge apartment with large living room with kitchen area, huge bedroom and bed, toilet had a jacuzzi and separate walk in shower. Public car park outside which is £3 from 5pm to 9am! ”

”This was a great place - room clean and warm with comfy bed and all the home comforts. Both pub and restaurant had welcoming atmosphere - friendly staff and lovely food. ”

”The stay at the Le Strange Arms was excellent from when we booked in to when we left. The room was clean and supplied with biscuits and fresh milk in a bottle, made a change from U H T in plastic. The breakfast was very good set us up for the day. The only complaint was the shower it was very hot I could not turn it down to a comfortable temperature. ”

”Lovely property with very nice and helpful staff. Food and drink was excellent. Just unfortunate that the room was so hot. It was a warm day but considering it was April and a 20-22C day I was shocked how uncomfortable the room felt. Portable AC is provided but not overly effective. ”

”Had to change rooms as stairs were very steep really struggled with them so me am my friend asked to be moved to a downstairs twin room none available but had a double available for which they wanted £90 on Top of the £65 we had already paid obviously we declined an went back to room I nearly fell downstairs as I’m disabled an use a stick my friend isn’t much better so we rang reception to ask if they could come up with a better price for double room and relented an charged us 45 but still think...

”Excellent stay. Staff were superb along with the food and drink on offer. Maybe some healthier options would be a suggestion, plus the heating was constantly on full through the building. Money saving opportunity here. Definitely recommend.”
