”The hotel was very beautiful old building. The apartment was spatious, bathrooms were very nice, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature in the room was too high. Windows couldn't be kept open because of the terrible smell from the cows next to the hotel!”

”Loved the quirky fixtures and fittings in the room.”

”Good options for breakfast good timings for us Ideal having 2 double beds Great blackout curtains parking outside Would definitely stay again”

”Stayed in a superior triple room which has plenty of space/storage and a fantastic view across Morecambe bay. Some of the fittings were a little tired but everything functioned as it should and was cleaned to a good standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain where everything was for the breakfast buffet. Breakfast consists of a small selection of cereals, yoghurt and English breakfast items, as well as tea/coffee, bread for toasting and individually wrapped...

”We had a brilliant stay, the room was very clean, well appointed and had a beautiful bathroom. We also really loved the pool and spa. Highly recommend for a lovely relaxing stay.”

”Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

”Lovely old building, well located and enough parking at the back of hotel in side street. Comfortable bed, room was well maintained, especially the bathroom. Room was spacious enough for one person.”

”The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again”

”Convenient location. Easy parking. Continental breakfast was a bit basic, You get what you pay for and for the low price you can't expect the ritz. Would probably stay there again if I ever go to Morecambe again.”

”Great value for money and staff are very helpful.”

”The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone...

”Good value accommodation, pleasant and comfortable in a good location. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped and it was relatively easy to gain access to the property. The proprietor was was helpful when I needed to contact them regarding confirmation.”

”The room was lovely and clean. Super comfy bed and I really loved the dine-in kit. The hot tub was a great addition, very clean and easy to use. Had great communication with the team. Thank you !”

”Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem.”
