”Public spaces like reception looked really good and breakfast was excellent. Elevator and hallways had seen better days and were quite dirty. Our bungalow had air quality problems and we had to move to main building which was tolerable. Beds were very hard and pillows too thick to our preference. Both rooms we saw were were quite spartan. Full renovation of all rooms would be a requirement for even 4*. ”

”It's the only hotel in the area and when I first saw it I thought 'The Bates Motel' but after the first night, it felt charming; from a bygone era. The garden is unkept, yet the room, very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. There is a breakfast terrace, again with an outstanding view and the breakfast, simple yet satisfying. It was the beginning of the season so it was quite empty but I can image that it would be full of Eastern European tourist by mid-July. The pool is lovely,...
