”Unlikely to stay there again. It was quaint, but lacking in amenities. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 AM for coffee which is too late for an early riser. A small coffee maker in the room would solve this problem. Be aware (as I was not) you are renting a bedroom, no TV and you are a few miles from a restaurant so make sure you have snacks. This set-up may work for some travelers but I found it lacking in amenities that would make the stay a bit nicer. It was clean, but the pool was not open...

”The character of the room was amazing and it propelled you into the past. Pros: great location for all things downtown Dahlonega, very quiet room-surprising because of the location, gorgeous detail of design to enhance the historic location. Cons: The toilet room is a tight fit when you sit down. Wish they had blackout curtains because the room was lit up as soon as the sun came up. Wish it had a split conditioner instead of a window unit for the hot summer nights. However, this is a wonderful...
