”Overall, this property is pretty average. The rooms are nice sized, but the bathrooms are very tiny and the door to the bathroom didn’t sit flush so you would have to push and pull on it to get it to open. The staff was nice and let me check in early, they also kept our luggage while we explored more of the city after check out. I do have several complaints about the property itself. The walls are VERY thin, we could hear our neighbors walking around and speaking very clearly through the walls...

”The property was very convenient to everything in Salem including the short walk to the commuter rail depot to Boston. Our room and the bathroom were very small, which was disappointing since we stayed there 5 nights. When we checked in I asked the desk attendant if we could get a bigger room and she told me I should have done this request with Expedia prior to checking in. I was ot happy with her attitude and unresponsiveness. In summary it is a great historic hotel and very convenient.”

”Everyone was super friendly. I love that you can take records back to the room. Location is great. Food was good. Coffee bar was great. Night life was fun, hung out on the patio. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and would go back!”

”Overall good stay and much less expensive than hotels closer to the Samberg Conference Center. EXCELLENT location to the metro line and the free EZ ride bus stop to go all over the Boston area. My only feedback is that the AC in my room seem to have some issue and was puttering on and off constantly and I don't know that the temperature ever dropped below 73 or so. I didn't have time to even ask for the hotel to switch rooms but something to consider if you notice this upon arrival to make such...
