”This was a very lovely place to stay! Our group of 7 really enjoyed the little house. Could not have picked a better place to stay! The property was super clean, made it feel super homey and safe! When we come back to Welch I would love to stay here again! Thank you to the host for helping us make wonderful memories together!”

”Overall an average place to stay. Lag in communication with host (we didn’t have internet for one day of the stay, which was very frustrating in a non service area.) After a second attempt to contact the host 24 hrs later, they were prompt and it was an easy fix. Exterior: The outside yard needs some TLC and the propane grill igniter didn't work. (Just a small thing, but frustrating.) The porch light wasn’t working properly, which made it difficult when coming in at night, but we alerted the...

”The cabin was very nice and enjoyed it. The area is definitely sad. Not really anywhere to eat, very limited on groceries. A very poor area to say the least. I feel bad for the people there because their livelihood was taken from them when the government stop coil from being produced. ”

”The house was very nice inside. The neighboring houses are condemned. Getting a trailer in and out of the drive was a challenge as the drive is narrow and the train bridge obstructs view of the road. The property is located next to train tracks and trains entering the tunnel sound the horn at all hours. The trains are loud coal trains that run frequently. The house was clean and comfortable, if you can handle the train noise, the property is a fair price. They provide ear plugs to help with the...

”JJ was awesome and so helpful to us when we arrived and gave us a ton of helpful information. He even went and got our trail stickers and maps for us. He gave us his cell number and went above and beyond. The house we stayed in was not as nice as the pictures made it seem. The bathrooms were very run down with torn lament and mold. The blind in the bathroom window was gross. The white caulk was dirty and gross. We bought new bath mats to use because the ones in the bathroom and basement were...
