”Most of the staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate requests or needs. Service for meals was fairly slow, so plan accordingly. Food quality and temperatures should definitely be I
Improved. While the property was lovely, the furnishings were a bit shabby and worn down. It wouldn’t take much to raise the standard and impression. Finally, the write ups and marketing should be more truthful about what can be seen on property and how authentic the current building truly is. Those...

”The views were amazing overlooking horses in a pasture. My family said the jacuzzi was great. We didn’t use the sauna. Unfortunately, there were a lot of little things about the condition of the property that we found unacceptable. The is no dryer and they only supply one bath and one hand towel per person. No way to quickly dry wet towels. The washing machine had mold which the owner came over and cleaned, but it shouldn’t have been allowed to get that bad in the first place.”

”Nice appartement with a large living-kitchen. Ideally located for a trip to Edinburgh; a 45 minutes ride with the bus that stops nearly in front of the appartement. Two supermarkets nearby (one 500m walk, the other 5 minutes drive). Parking on private ground in front of the appartement. And a very large and nice garden at the back op the house.Roselyn Chapel, worth a visit, is closeby with car. And a 45 minutes ride away is Jupiter Artland. A sculpture garden on a estate. We spent a whole day...

”Arniston cottages are a very peaceful retreat from the busy work of today but close enough to Edinburgh and all the local attractions. Our third visit to see family and go out with grandchildren, so we will be back!”
