”I stayed here on a weeknight for a wedding reception, very easy to find within 2 miles of the M1 motorway and plenty of parking. I originally booked a single room but checked a few days before and a double was cheaper so I managed to ‘upgrade’ and save some money! Check in was easy and the room was well appointed with fast WiFi, tea/coffee/mineral water and a walk-in shower with toiletries. ”This place is so impersonal. No reception you check in and cut your own room “key”. The room was sparse to say the least. No cabinets/drawers, no wardrobe a narrow shelf for the kettle. Not worth the money No electric car chargers”

”The property generally was very good Staff were very considerate. The problem was that to access the accommodation was only by scaling a flight of stone steps from the car park 13 steps and then to access any of the rooms on the next floor another flight of steep steps had to be negotiated. All of this makes it very unsuitable for any with disabilities. This should be made clear when looking to book accommodation”

”Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. ”
