”Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again.”

”We love staying at this hotel. The staff are really helpful nothing is too much trouble. The hotel also has some really thoughtful touches like providing rain ponchos for guests heading to shows at the outdoor open air theatre. When we came back from the show we were abit cold so we loved that we could grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the lounge. They are also showing the World Cup at the hotel Cinema. Touches like this make it a really special place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!”

”Great Stay and Dinner at the Wilson Arms - 10 minutes outside Whitby - easy access and great rooms with great bar and food. We had a Double - Room 3 - Ate dinner good selection choice and great beer and Gin Stay was easy and I apologies for setting the Fire Alarm off at 8am on Sunday morning... shower ... Steam. No issues - all good - very nice breakfast service was great. Price £120.00 for a double with Breakfast. Meal for two was £67.00 which included 2 x Rounds of Drinks - great...

”Lovely stay at the Cedar Court. I’ve been quite a few times before but not since it’s had a bit of a refresh. They’ve done a really good job with it and the rooms now feel much more modern. It would have been nice to a few little extras in the room such as a vanity kit etc. that said the shower products are now the White Company which I love, sadly the shower gel was empty in our room and I didn’t realise until I was in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains keep out the light...
