”We had a good stay. The property was good. The surrounding areas near rhe property looks like an older town, so we did not venture over there. Resurfacing of the road was in progress while we were there. Location is far away from Christiansted; we took around 35 to 40 mins to get to Christiansted by car.”

”Just what I needed to decompress from the hustle and bustle of life in main land America. Corina and Ryan's efforts to infuse history throughout the property was especially meaningful. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and modern amenities.”

”Charles (Pojo) was such an amazing host. His tiny home has everything in it. Full sized gas range, fridge, BBQ all the plates and cutlery you could want. The TV is even set up with Prime and Netflix for a guest. The bed is super comfortable. You are a 10 min walk to an excellent beach and no more than a 20 min walk into town. The keyless entry was very nice as you did not have to worry about losing your key. Easy parking, not that I drove. I would stay here again in a second.”

”Being met at the airport was just the start of a most fantastic vacation! Roy and Bonnie have created a five-star experience with all the comforts of home-from-home. Peace and tranquility, surrounded by lush rainforest and yet with easy access to Centerline, made this a truly great way to get the best out of St Croix. Up-to-date appliances, including washer/dryer and reliable wifi, all added up to a superb experience.”

”Super location for diving and snorkeling. Apartment was perfect for 2 or 3 people. Comfortable with a king bed, loveseat/sofa bed and chair. Porch had a great view and seating to relax. Even when it was warm the apartment stayed cool. Host responded to all questions in a timely manner. Pool was super clean and refreshing. Lots of seating. Power outages are a thing at times but never lasted more than an hour. Local restaurants are fun and friendly. I highly recommend and would return.”

”We love the place, we have stayed on property several times and this was our 4th condo and it was by far the best one. Loved being up on the 3rd floor and having an amazing view. Everything was well done. Keep in mind you are staying in the Caribbean so salt water tends to wear on things. Internet can be spotty but we're not there for that, water access and snorkeling is some of the best on the island and the pier is within walking distance. Will stay again. ”

”We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”
