”This is a really well ran camp. Probably the most organised place that we stayed in in Sri Lanka. The area is very peaceful and safe and the tent very comfortable! The complimentary afternoon tea each day was a nice touch with some freshly cooked local delicasies. The safari was fantastic and the dinner each evening was the nicest food that we ate in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend ”

”The Aryana hotel exceeded our expectations. The whole place was spotless, service was terrific, the food was delicious and the hospitality was incredible. Nelu, the manager took care of ourselves, he made sure we enjoyed our stay in all aspects, he gave us tips for our trip, helped secure a tuktuk to take us around, and engaged in meaningful conversation. He even provided us with a free upgrade as our room was not very confortable the first night. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

”First - this is a camp with tents so you cannot expect hotel level amenities. Unless you have been camping before it may be dirty and discusting. If you have been camping you probably will find this quite luxurious, clean and working. The tents are relatively big and have working toilets and showers. They are clean - considering they are in a "jungle" or at least in rural woods. We had a few scorpions (tiny) and lizards accompanying us, but they are not dangerous. The staff was really friendly...

Sijainti oli syrjässä keskustasta, mutta saavuimme vasta illallisen jälkeen ja lähdimme heti aamupalan jälkeen, joten sijainti ei haitannut. Temppelit on niin laajalla alueella, että niiden kiertämiseen tarvitsee joka tapauksessa jonkun kulkupelin. Tämä paikka järjesti meille auton ja kuljettajan. Huoneessa piti olla yksi iso ja yksi tavallinen parisänky. Molemmat olivat samankokoisia, suomalaisen parisängyn...

”Very quiet when we stayed so lacking atmosphere, particularly in the the restaurant. The service in the restaurant was excellent but reception was less helpful, except the lady who seemed to be the manager. Room was nice but could easily be updated to a much higher standard. Lots of monkeys, and they get up close, we quite enjoyed watching on our veranda but others might be put off by. ”

”Hotel met maar een handjevol kamers, gerund door de enorm vriendelijke en behulpzame familie. De kamer was heel groot - 3 bedden, goed werkende airco en ventilator. Het hotel ligt midden in de natuur (op een steenworp van het 'centrum') en de rust 's ochtends is dan ook geweldig. ”This property offered value for money - it was cheap. In its heyday, it must have been a very nice hotel but maintenance has fallen behind over the years. The common areas are fine but the rooms and exterior/grounds are very tired and badly need to be updated. Perhaps the owners can't afford it - there were only 4 guests booked in on the night we stayed.”

”På ingen måder pengene værd. “Luksusteltet” var. Meget slidt, der lugtede meget grimt. Der kom en tynd stråle koldt vand ud af bruseren, ingen toiletartikler. Maden var det kedeligste vi har fået på alle 3 uger. Vi så en elefant, et par vandbøfler og en ugle på en 7-timers Safari. (I Yale nationalpark så vi Bjørn, 2 leoparder, elefanter, masser af vandbøfler og en krokodille på 3 timer) Alt i alt spild af penge!”
