”A decent place for the price. Our groups rooms varied from very spacious to tiny. Rooms were clean with all needing some minor maintenance. Amenities varied by room from refrigerators to ice buckets. Small towns are a tough market for hotels but this one could use some updates. Overall, a decent place.”

”It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. ”

”The property is located in the country with horses coming to the fence to greet you. The cabin is decorated very nicely and fits very well with the country location. Everything we needed was provided in regards to kitchen items,dishes,towels, shampoo, conditioner,body wash... The location was ideal for our trip to Custer State Park and Keystone area.Everything was exceptional.”

”It took a couple days to adjust to the change in view from our favorite spot on the back porch, not to mention the sounds of construction on Christmas Eve as the monstrosity of a home being built against the mesa continued. Our favorite spot at the Getaway is now much different as the peaceful seclusion we once experienced is now property tainted by money. ”

”The kitchen was amazing fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking. They left tea coffee and snack's which was greatly appreciated. The beds were comfortable. It was nice also to have access to different streaming options.. The host were very willing to answer any questions that I had.”

”Everything was clean and well organized. The rooms were spacious and well laid out. The remotes for the TV were underneath the TV in their homes. It was a pleasant place to stay. We will definitely consider it the next time we are staying in the Black Hills”
