”This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!”

It was nice to have the stair lift but then we had to go up another flight of steps to get to the bedrooms. We had a few ladies that have trouble walking and we weren’t prepared for this. ”Everything met and exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, spotless and beautiful. The beds and linens are super comfortab; the bath towels are large, thick and smell nice and fresh. We loved that the bedrooms are separated from each other - on either side of the house and both have their own beautiful bathroom. ”The beds are 40+ years old mattresses in horrible condition, pool could use cleaning algae growing. Staff was friendly but rooms can definitely use some updating and cleanliness improvement, updating beds. Went to my vehicle day two in order to get some rest.”
