”Not many options for breakfast”

”After traveling all day we got to the Hillcrest only to find out they did not have all of our rooms. They tried to get us to share the room they had. No phone call to let us know ahead of time. No help in finding us another room. Their thought was that I reserved 4 rooms and they only had 3, that I should still take the 3 rooms because I reserved them. We ended up at going back north to a hotel we passed 30 miles before. Very unhappy that Expedia would even list this property.”

”The bed was very hard & very small. The room was also pretty small. The room was super cold & then in the middle of the night it got very hot. There was a bad odor coming from the bathroom, also. It didn’t have a fridge in it, but there was one in the hallway that ppl could share. It was quiet there & there was a nice view of the river across the street with places to sit.”

”It's nice to find a place that values cleanliness without being overpriced. Just what I needed during my trip.”

”We really enjoyed our stay. Our visits to the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter were within a reasonable driving distance. Samantha was very good about keeping in touch. The house was very clean and we were impressed with the provisions. The bicycles were a plus for the grandkids. Overall a great vacation week.”

”There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. Instead, check-in was handled through a screen by a virtual representative who appeared to be located in another country. I was asked to provide my government-issued ID through this system, which is my main concern. Why does my ID need to be sent to another country? Who receives it, where is it stored, and who has access to it? Why can’t a staff member physically present at the hotel verify my ID? During check-in, the virtual representative...

”From pictures, the room looked very nice and spacious. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell and the room had a very dirty feel to it. The pull out couch was dirty, lopsided, and made loud creaky sounds. The pillows were extremely flat, the bed felt unclean… we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The pro is that the room was spacious for our family but overall the hotel could use updates and a deep clean.”
