”After reading some prior reviews, I was nervous about our stay. However, guest services checked us in and made sure it was ok if we were in the same side as the plaza as there was music until 9pm and it may be a little loud. ”The room itself was a good size, but the humidity was unbearable. It was so damp that even the bed sheets felt wet. I left my suitcase open overnight, and by the next morning all of my clothes felt humid and had developed a musty smell after just one night. The rooms are carpeted, and because of the excessive humidity, dirt and debris actually stuck to our feet as we walked around. It was disgusting. ”Well designed, quiet, fresh feeling”

”Staff unfriendly, no one smiled. The refrigerator and microwave did not work (was plugged in) the outlets were loose, windows dirty to look out, shower head and sink low, and just felt old and not up to par. For the price, I won’t go back. There’s many other hotels in that price range that offer so much more and better kept. The breakfast was not that great but maybe I’m picky. The thing that stood out the most was the unfriendly front desk employee who smoked weed out in the parking deck...

”The hotel is incredibly clean but badly in need of updating, especially for the price. My bed was not at all comfortable, which is very confounding and disappointing as they have to know most guests are Mayo patients and need good rest more than most. Will not be returning; the Hyatt is only slightly more expensive and MUCH nicer”

”The parking was great even it had a $15 fee per day. You park take elevator right to your room floor. Shuttle to Mayo made it easier for us. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was okay had better but it worked”

”I stayed here two nights while preparing for surgery on the third day. Our room was clean and quiet at night. Air conditioning worked well. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was typical, offering basic protein and carbohydrate choices. I met several other individuals connected with Mayo’s exemplary health care delivery system. It was conveniently located for the multiple LYFT rides upon which I depended. Very positive experience. Thank you”
