”I opted for non-smoking but smelled the smoke once get in the room. I have reported it and got some amount as refund as the non-smoking room is unavailable. Otherwise it’s ok.”

”The keyless lock at the front was a little touchy and it took multiple tries sometimes. It’s a 2-step code which can be an issue if your finger isn’t exactly on the right spot. Also no elevator with lots of steps to 2nd floor. Everything else was great.”

”I do not feel the reviews were accurate. The neighborhood did not feel safe. Multiple houses around are collapsing or in serious disrepair. The house felt very exposed and vulnerable. I was worried about fire risk or our car overnight. There were very steep stairs to the apartment and were traveling with an elderly person, did not see disclosure on that. There is no way the reviews should be rated as high as they were. The code to the door did not work and we saw that as a sign to walk away and...

”Perfect for what we needed…a spot very close to the wedding we traveled to attend. Parisian decorations, thoughtful touches, cleanliness, handwritten notes throughout the little area gave it a personal feel. If you like being immersed in places that clearly have history, this 1860 property is what you’re looking for. The owners are, as one note stated, constantly upgrading, and the space is still being worked on…but for the price and location, just what we wanted.”

”A fly swatter will be great. There were a lot of flies and we kept doors closed, except for going in and out. All of the rooms were clean and bed so comfy but watch your toes. Middle post on beds, caught our toes/feet a couple times.”

”Room was clean. Only problem was we were next to a wedding party and the next room must’ve been used as a bridal suite and they were up at 5:30 getting ready and I could hear everything!! They were so loud, music blaring. I was so tired after a long trip.”

”The room was definitely neglected, bugs that were dead in plain sight and not picked up, room service never cleaned any messes, not to mention they just walk in without knocking, just made the beds and took care of the trash can, not the actual trash that was put aside for them, also found a coke baggy in between the couch cushions of the pullout couch, the power also went out, after talking to the manager about what had happened, he said “well what do you want me to do about it?” So then I had...

”We had a wonderful time, the host was very helpful and friendly. The view of the Lake was beautiful and the many visits to the Golden State Park and Marina were enjoyed by myself and the dogs. We also visited the Yates Town Park which was just down the road a short drive. My husband and son went fishing and came back to a warm and cozy cottage! We loved it!!!”

”Perfect! Great spot near the lake and close enough to ride the Erie Canal trail. Kayaking the river and nearby Lake Alice were both very nice. Short drive to three state parks. The house was wonderful. Would definitely go again.”
