”Hart Hotel was perfect. Medina was charming, people very friendly. You just go to your room with the code that is texted to you. Our room was a studio with small kitchen area. Hotel is convenient to the Erie Canal and we stored our bikes inside. The Newell bar in the lobby was very inviting and the employees very pleasant. ”

”This is a very unconventional arrangement for a hotel. It does not even have a reception desk. The owner, who lives remotely, provides entry and room door combinations. Fortunately, he reached me via phone when I was on the road. IMO, however, booking services (e.g., trivago, expedia) need to ascertain that as part of the booking process and forewarn clients of the unconventional nature of this place.”

”This was an excellent stay! I was looking for something that was cheaper than hotel listings in Medina. I stumbled upon this gem. If you are looking to be near the water you can’t get closer than this! It’s near downtown and the trail. There is a double bed so this is best for a single person or a couple that likes to snuggle. ”We had a lovely time in Medina - there was a lot to do within walking distance, and many parks to visit within driving distance. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the host was accessible and responsive when we had a question. We used the kitchen while we were there and had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again and explore more of Medina!”

”The place has a lot of nice artistic accents. It felt like I was in a special place that was as close to Europe as I could get in the small town of Albion. Had nice walk two blocks from the Erie canal. Would do this again.”

”Lake Onterio Cottage reviewWe arrived at this idyllic cottage which is literly as close to the water of Lake Ontario as it could be and found a home which excludes warmth & welcome in abundance.I laid in the bed early the next morning looking out over the lake as a misty sunrise was dawning and early autumn breezes came through the open window, I heard the haunting cry of a loon calling out to it’s mate. ”Check in was easy, Lucille provided instructions in a timely manner that made using the rental very easy. The property made been newly refurbished and was in excellent condition, it was absolutely delightful! Kitchen was well stocked and had almost anything a chef might need.”
