”This is an old hotel (1930s) in the mountain town of Fairplay Colorado. Quaint, a little rustic, but our stay (1 night) was quite pleasant. Everything worked fine and the breakfast (an additional $15) was delicious - fresh fruit, a choice of freshly cooked egg dishes, meats and pastry. In a throwback to an earlier time, no TVs in the rooms (no hardship for us). Staff are delightful. We will stay there when we pass that way again ”

”Outstanding log cabin, cozy, well equipped, excellent indoor and outdoor cooking appliances/tools. Great venue for two guys who wanted a week long getaway for fishing (Tarryall and Jefferson Lake), cooking, backgammon, and just laid back catching up between CO and NYC. Setting in South Park is stunning surrounded by mountains and the high plains, with truly dark skies offering amazing clarity of the Milky Way. Will rebook next spring for sure! Thanks to the host!”
