Hae hotelleja – Peterborough

”This is a nice business style hotel on the outskirts of Peterborough. It is very close to the A1 which was handy as we arrived late. It also has air conditioning which was very nice in the heat. Good parking though you do pay extra for this. Room service was good and staff were very nice. I would stay again.”

”Erittäin ystävällinen ja lämminhenkinen palvelu, vastaavaa ei ole ollut missään muualla. Majatalomainen rakennus ja tunnelma. Vieraiden viihtyvyys on etusijalla. Ei kovin nykyaikainen, mutta voi suositella kenelle tahansa. ”

”Tosi hieno aula ja pub. Hyvä full English aamupala. Hyvä sijainti. Huoneen ikkuna ei mennyt kiinni kunnolla, ja pyysin 2xpäivässä että se korjattaisi. Sille ei kuitenkaan tehty mitään koko aikana, eikä seuraava vuoro ollut kertaakaan tietoinen koko asiasta. Aamiaismaksujen kanssa oli myös sekoilua, ilta- ja aamuvuorolaista eri mielipiteet hinnasta ja maksuista. Suihkusta ei tullut kuin tulikuumaa vettä.”

”Hotelli itsessään oli kaunis ja palvelu hyvää. Aamiainen tuotiin huoneeseen aamulla. Uudenaikaisin ja siistein hotelli matkamme aikana. Tilava ja kauniisti sisustettu. Hotelli on kyllä kävelymatkan päässä Peterborough:n kesksutasta, mutta lähellä on myös erittäin roskainen ja huonosti hoidettu lähiöalue, jonne helposti lähtee myös kävelemään keskustan sijasta. Hyvä hotelli siis, osaa etsiä shoppailu mahdollisuuksia ja keskiaikaista rakennuskulttuuria toisesta suunnasta.”

”We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean and spacious. It had a fully equipped kitchen including a freezer. There was even a washing machine and a dishwasher, There was a really good size ensuite in one of the double bedrooms and a large main bathroom. We were really impressed with the size and facilities in the room. Only slight niggle was that with a very tall family the beds were not the largest. We would definitely stay there again.”

”Great location - ten minutes walk from Stamford town centre and you can walk from the hotel garden straight into Burghley house grounds - though then a bit of a hike to the house. Nice relaxed dining on the terrace. Large, old-fashioned but well maintained rooms - old fashioned is a feature. Friendly and helpful staff. Not cheap but decent value for money.”

”Just stayed here for a family wedding in the area. The house was excellent, very clean and very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.”

”The single en-suite room was very small, and a little tired-looking, but perfectly adequate for a one-night stopover. The chinese take-away a few doors down was convenient and very good. The full breakfast was amazing!”

”Breakfast is the problem. We were told that Sunday there is no breakfast, which is not written anywhere on the website; so we had to have - and pay for - breakfast somewhere else. Then, when we had breakfast the other days, we were asked to order the evening before (not written on Expedia as well) and what we were given was barely enough. We all had to spend extra money to reach a very minimum bearable breakfast - as we are people who were in Peterborough to work, not holiday.”

”Excellent food in a lovely village next to a main road however when you shut the windows the traffic noise was vastly reduced. The close room was great value.”

”The hotel was excellent. We were offered a room upgrade on our arrival to a deluxe room and the room was superb. Very clean and comfortable with both a bath and separate shower - huge bathroom. The bar area was cosy and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Good selection of wines. We will definitely be returning. Just wish our stay had been longer.”
