”No a/c. Redoing walkway to our hotel and dragging luggage through gravel was very difficult - as was lugging it up the flight of stairs. Room was tidy but wouldn’t say clean, electrical outlets cracked and need attention. Overall the property needs updating. Spotty WiFi. Gondola was amazing and the view of Mt. Rainier at the top was breathtaking. There are Adirondike chairs to sit in at the top and a restaurant/bar. The proximity of the hotel to this and Mr. Rainier Park was perfect. Parking...

”The overall property and room were nice. It was quiet and the breakfast basket was just as described. The only major downside was the air conditioning did not work and our room was between 78-80 degrees all night. That made for a pretty miserable nights sleep.”

”Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Pool is open 24/7. But was not busy at all has a pool and hot tub. They even provide some pool toys and life jackets for younger kids. Breakfast was a good variety. Hotel clean and close to everything about a 15 min drive to Tacoma dome and a 30-40 min drive to Seattle which didn’t seem long in the freeway.”

”We stayed here because the room had a kitchen and we cooked all our meals. The location was good, just outside Mt Rainer. This place is rustic but fit our needs great.”

”First of all, several issues marred our stay. Upon first entering our room, we found a used floss pick on the floor—which felt especially unhygienic given the room was supposedly just cleaned. The room also had an unpleasant, persistent odor, and the ventilation system was clearly inadequate. Worse still, our bathroom toilet stopped flushing. Staff came to inspect it but couldn't resolve the issue, so they called in a repairman. He also failed to fix it on the spot and said he'd return later....

”We stayed at Frenchie’s room. The property has an unpleasant odor, likely due to its age. The floors are quite creaky, and the walls between rooms are very thin, making it easy to hear noise and conversations from neighboring rooms. There is no shampoo or conditioner. The freezer compartment in the mini fridge was heavily iced over, which significantly reduced the usable storage space. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets provided. I...

”The room was ok we usually stay in a room in the front of the building. We heard the traffic and there was some weird sounds like something was leaking. Breakfast was really crowded the only one keeping things flowing is the sweet gal that we have seen many times. She is lovely, talks with everyone and again keeps the area going which was great. ”The motel is in very desperate need of renovation. Everything is outdated and warn out. The bed was somewhat ok, but the pillows and plankets had barely any filling left. When we got to the room the air con was blowing freezing cold air at 60 f and it was cold through all night. Go somewhere else if you can. ”
