”This place was disgraceful. I wish I had taken pictures. First the steps to the second floor (no elevator) were a hazard, steel plates loose, one missing altogether with crumbling concrete and black adhesive exposed. Front door was banged up and lock had a 3/4 inch hole like it had been broken in to. Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Toilet paper holder and tissue holder fell out of wall when used, windows were so dirty I closed blinds so I would not have to see them. Draperies were crumbled and...

”Hotel staff were very friendly. Chante was very helpful with check in with our 3 rooms. Only 2 miles from ECU campus. ”

”Fee for my little poodle was 75$. Felt so ridiculous. Wish I knew beforehand the exorbitant cost before hand. Only knew they were pet friendly. ”

”Staff were all extremely kind. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good, better the 1st day than the 2nd but still good. Laundry is free, you just need to buy your own detergent. They had some in the lobby, but we went to CVS right down the street for ours. Lobby has cold beer which was a huge plus. Overall felt very safe.”

”Breakfast was not included in the cost of the room. Paying $4.00 for a cup of coffee is a bit much! A restaurant was in the hotel, with limited hours, very pricey, and with a very limited menu. A from the restaurant would have been helpful, no information was in the room. The faucet in the bathroom sink is so short you could hardly get your hands under it. I expected more from a Marriott.”

”The administrator of this location, Jenny or Jennifer, is the worst lier. She was never during the hours of operation and then lied about and giving excuses. She told me multiple lies to my face while doing checkin. Beware”
