”The property was steeped in History and appeared a lot of money and work had gone in to renovation although perhaps could consider some work be attended to the state of the rooms?..suggest safety rails around the bath ..integrated radio within the TV?....CLEAR signs to direct guests to the restaurants and Bar....while strict attention was given to guests needs we felt a little rushed in having our evening meal ..?consider more time if possible and thoughts on a "Brunch" menu? otherwise the...

”The room eas a long way from the check in but staff were helpful and friendly. Redtaur Ant and bar well appointed with accommodating staff.”

”Great value place to stay, clean and tidy rooms, decent breakfast too, ample parking.”

”Checkin not the best - the young man checking our party in looked down at his screen while talking to us - so was difficult to hear what he said . Surprised that we were asked if we wanted our rooms ‘refreshed’ each day . Paying for the 3 rooms couldn’t for some reason be done in one payment - so 3 separate payments had to be done - which of course took longer .”

”The property was modern and looked very nice Unfortunately the room let the whole overnight experience down. The bathroom was filthy. The bath and shower were dirty, needed a deep clean and updating. I bought this to the attention of the Duty Manager. I was offered IHG points. I will not be staying there again”

”We found the booking process very confusing thinking dogs stay for free but when we arrived were told no it's £30 which represented nearly half the room rate. This is too much for a dog who doesn't moult and you wouldn't know had been there. The website through Expedia when we went back and looked said dog staff do a fee which is misleading as I read as dogs stay for free. Needs to me make clearer or use a differed way of saying you pay for dogs.”

”Tosi hieno aula ja pub. Hyvä full English aamupala. Hyvä sijainti. Huoneen ikkuna ei mennyt kiinni kunnolla, ja pyysin 2xpäivässä että se korjattaisi. Sille ei kuitenkaan tehty mitään koko aikana, eikä seuraava vuoro ollut kertaakaan tietoinen koko asiasta. Aamiaismaksujen kanssa oli myös sekoilua, ilta- ja aamuvuorolaista eri mielipiteet hinnasta ja maksuista. Suihkusta ei tullut kuin tulikuumaa vettä.”

”Hotelli oli hieno, huone siisti ja työntekijät todella ystävällisiä. Sijainti syrjässä keskustasta katsottuna, ajelimme taksilla välimatkat.Hyvä maku jäi kuitenkin.”
