”It’s pretty run down. The door to our room has shifted and was getting stuck trying to open it close it. ”

”There were lots of ladybugs, both dead and alive, on the floors and walls of the room as well as in the shower. The AC unit was too large for the room making it act as a dehumidifier instead of colling the room. The bed was definitely not Queen sized as advertised. Chose the hotel because it was one of Choice Hotel's Ascend hotels. We had higher expectations.”

”Room felt neglected, as soon as we arrived we went to turn the AC on and when we did the whole front of the AC and control panel fell to the ground. There was rust all in out tub/shower, no one bathed :-(. Only one lamp had a light fixture in it, there were no batteries in room remote, We went to ask for more, when we put them in those did not work, we went BACK down the stairs (elevator was broken, we were on 2nd floor) she handed us a handful of used batteries and said see what works, she had...

”There was a used towel on the bed when we arrived. The rooms have an odd smell, and so do the pillows. Otherwise it was an okay stay. The bed was very comfortable.”

”Just needed a quick night to stay halfway between home and Houston. Location was convenient. As many states in reviews, there is no front desk attendant, you message the property on here and they come meet you. Room was clean, but… Bed was rock hard and there were people outside yelling/blasting music all night long. Will definitely not stay there again. ”

”I really wanted to like this place but boy did it leave a lot to be desired. Please note that you cannot access the bedrooms without taking stairs/ladders - and the stairs are kind of dangerous. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews mentioning this. The outside looks like the pictures but the inside is poorly made, dusty and dirty. It is also very dark in there (which I guess is part of the ambience) - I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t that one of the lamps had no bulb and the light...

”The lake cabin was the perfect getaway for the weekend with some friends! Everything was as listing said and it was a very nice property. We brought our kayaks and the beach on the lake was perfect for putting in the water, nice and sandy. It was perfect in every way!”
