”This is a WONDERFUL resort! It's in a wonderful setting, near a fun town, and the staff is great. Newman's restaurant, part of the resort, is the best restaurant I've had the privilege of enjoying in several years. A bit pricey, but worth the price. My standard for 5 stars is generally Four Seasons hotels and resorts. If Four Seasons operated a very small boutique inn, this would be it.”

”Beautiful property, friendly host, clean environment. Really loved listening to the river at night! Also, not scarily secluded but pretty private. Good mix between camping and not camping at the same time.”

”The room was clean, It is family friendly. We did not use the tub. The shower is a corner shower that is a little tight but has great water pressure and flow. I did put a wash cloth on the tub so the shower door would not hit the bare tub and damage it or make a loud noise. The first night the family in the adjoining cabin were noisy until 1am. Sounded like jumping and loud talking. The third night there was jumping, thumping and loud talking and arguing on and off until 4:30am. Woke me up at...

”We spent four amazing nights at The Escspe! It’s such a cool place and perfect for my family, with a kitchen, full bathroom, and washer/dryer. We enjoyed evenings on the rooftop deck. Saluda is such a cute town. We are already planning to come back! ”

”While maybe not exactly what I was expecting, this little barn house stay was great for our family holiday travel (with our dogs) to such a beautiful area. Very country cute. Remote. Had all amenities. Very thoughtful hosts. Quick and attentive support. Only suggestion, given closeness to road would have been nice to have a small fenced area outside for dogs.Still, a great little stay.”

”Great place to stay would love to go back and take the kids. The only complaint that we had was the mini spilt unit in the main living area we could never get it to turn on, leaving that room cold. ”

”Everything was good other than it got a little cold last night and there were no extra blankets except for the one on the bed. The air conditioning heater blows chilly air instead of warm air, so it was cold.”
