”Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. ”Visited WV relatives for early holiday. Yellow Dragonfly is overall great for ages 6y-60y. We prepped traditional Thanksgiving dinner in full kitchen, then had large separate dining room/table to dine away from the work. Little things we liked: ramp to enter; cool game room; plentiful lighting; holiday decor; stocked, including some nice snacks; nothing broken; phone chargers; close to hiking such as Cooper's. ”What a beautiful location! The house is just as described. Plenty of room for a wonderful weekend away with my cousins and sister! The lake was the perfect location for a hike and a swim! Absolutely gorgeous views with plenty to do! We will definitely be back! Only issue was a breaker was tripped to the bedrooms downstairs. It was an easy fix for us.The towels smelled sour after you started to dry with them. Should be washed/soaked in some vinegar. And sometimes when AC (which is loud) is...
