”Very good hotel.Super pool although hand rails would help. Sunbeds with towels available, static shades could be improved. Good breakfast. V.good Sri Lankan buffet lunch at reasonable price but get there before the coach parties arrive! Evening meals have moved from the pleasant open area to an all armchair restaurant which we didn't find very comfortable for eating. Our room was good but the extra bed did limit the space available. Very pleasant terrace to the room. We enjoyed bird watching...

”We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb....

”A bit of an adventure getting to the hotel as it is located at the top of a very steep drive way that meanders though a coconut and pepper plantation. Once there however, the views are great and the ambiance tranquil. The balcony overlooks tree tops, which for anyone seeking a quiet hideaway, this place is perfect.”
