”Amazing property. Beautiful location. Well maintained and situated perfectly to take advantage of the natural surroundings. Rooms clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked including umbrellas mounted outside the door.”

”Fint opphold på dette hotellet”

”There was a mixup with our reservation. Owner had organized us to stay in his brothers place, which was good. Even though our relocation he took care of us; organized safari with good driver/guide, gave us several lifts to the village center, as well as restaurant recommendations. He also got us comfotable car to get into Unawatuna. Even though I can't say anything about rooms or food in this hotel, I would book again just because of service was great and everything was taken care of regarding...

”Positive Review Had a wonderful stay at Hantara Udawalawe. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide great support. The peaceful surroundings and overall hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!”

”A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. You...

”Great place to stay. Extremely helpful staff. Facilities were surprisingly good. Handy location to elephant transit and national park. Nice pool. Highly recommend.”

”Honestly a very disappointing hotel. Online it looks lovely but the reality of metal construction without insulation means a boiling hot room that the AC can’t counteract and from others walking. The restaurant was comparable to Faulty Towers! We ordered a bottle of wine and after waiting for 15mins we’re told they didn’t have it, other drinks on the menu weren’t available, food was actually lovely but arrived at random times and the staff looked perplexed when asked anything. Also, and not...

”The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions.”

”Huone oli moitteeton.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at 'Forest Edge Hotel'. The location is charming with nature and beautiful views all around (I think all rooms have access to a balcony). It's far away enough from the main road that you don't hear any traffic. They also have a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. At least in the room we stayed, there were only power outlets with circular-shaped pins (something to keep in mind if you're used to using square pin adapters). The WIFI...

”We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. He also guided us to safely swim at the waterfall behind the hotel. And to top it all off, he arranged a candlelight dinner by the river! Five...
