”Huoneen ikkunaa ei saanut kiinni, joten huoneessa oli kylmä niin kuin muuten koko talossa. Vettä sai valuttaa minuuttitolkulla, että tarkeni peseytyä. Ei hissiä, kuuluvuus käytävästä ja naapurihuoneista liian hyvä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen, aamiainen hyvin perinteinen englantilainen. Ei siis vihanneksia, vain raskasta ruokaa. Sijainti oli hyvä, helppo kulkea, eri paikkoihin ”

”Nice hotel with great location and extremely nice staff. They get us early breakfast in the room and answer all the questions we have. Breakdast buffet was also great and lot of healthy options. Gym was maybe the best hotel gym i've ever visited. Spa was nice bonus and 20 meter long swimming pool was so cool because you can really do the swimming exercise there if you wanted to. ”

”The hotel itself is excellent - great location and architecture. The cool atmosphere and aircon were welcoming on the hottest June day ever recorded in Cardiff! The facilities were great - including bedroom, bar and pool / spa. A couple of disappointments though. Guaranteed check-in from 3p.m. We arrived at 2.15 so went to the bar to wait. By 3.30 still no room, so after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing they eventually found us an upgrade. The breakfast - distinctly average for the price and...

”Check in is at 3 pm and they will not allow early check in, even though I emailed the hotel and they said since we flew in over night that the front desk could accommodate that. Waited hours trying to stay awake in lobby. Never again”

”The front desk staff were amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our kids were happy to see a play area directly inside the lobby too. The room was nice, and it was useful to have a water dispenser on every level. Breakfast was good, selection could have been better but it was perfectly fine for a great start. The pool and spa facilities were a nice touch with both a proper steam room and sauna. I advise to go earlier as it can get busy with families in the pool. Gym is well kitted...

”Upon arrival (slightly early) I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception; very helpful. Check-in was quick & efficient. Good sized room & very comfy bed. Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. Room amenities were of a high standard, plenty of hanging space for clothes, plus drawers for my bits. Spacious desk/workspace, with plenty of power outlets. After checking in, I enjoyed a superb meal in the restaurant,...

”Excellent location. Car parking available if needed. Check was easy and the lady at the reception was very helpful and we was lucky that are room was ready early. Rooms start on the 4th floor. There are lifts but the staircase is available via the spa. Rooms very spacious, great air conditioning and beds very comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities available. Didn't use any other facilities.”

”Wonderful 3 night stay in a deluxe room, food in BLOK was divine and we loved our time using the indoor pool, such a beautiful hotel, staff are a real credit to this place, especially Helen at breakfast time who helped us plan our days out.”
