”I booked this hotel for couple nights and was very pleased with it. I've been in better hotels in my life but for the price I payed for my nights in Lansdowne it was worth it. Location of the hotel is excellent as it is right next to the beach (which can make lot of noise during windy times) and in less than a minute walk from grocery shop and Hastins' centre. Appearance of the hotel is decent compared to Finnish standards but rooms are very tidy and cozy. My bed was very shoft, maybe too soft...

”Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10”

Staff very helpful as requested earlier check in as had a wedding to attend at nearby venue. Supporting us with our request enabled us to stay at the wedding venue without the need to return for check in part way through the wedding celebrations. ”

”Excellent customer service from the lovely lady at reception! Breakfast was great- continental with the option to order a hot meal too (the scrambled eggs on toast was delicious). We had an early train booked for our checkout day however the hotel arranged a takeaway breakfast which we really appreciated. Room spacious and clean - we’d absolutely return!”

”We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay.”
