”This hotel has received great reviews and was listed as the best in the area and that was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. We wanted a more affordable hotel outside New Orleans for relaxing and swimming after a hot day in NOLA. There was supposed to be breakfast and a pool, but upon our arrival we were told that neither one was available due to Hurricane Isaac that had done damage to the hotel last August. ”This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.”

”We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay....from breathtaking sunsets to amazing wildlife. The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!”

"This is a pretty good hotel in a great location. A few small things bothered me, though. First, I was supposed to receive a $20 voucher and a bottle of water delivered to my room the next day, as I’m a long-time Hotels.com user. However, the front desk completely ignored this, and only on the last day—when I brought it up—did they acknowledge that I was entitled to them. I was also a bit bothered by how serious the front desk staff seemed. The hotel itself is in a great location. It’s about a 15-minute walk and you’re in the French Quarter. The hotel has a good restaurant with good food."
