”Very convenient location. The main stretch of Solvang is within walking distance. Parking, neighborhood, and everything else were very nice. We had a room in the back of the unit. The running water sound, perhaps from a nearby fountain in the backyard was a little bit noisy. Otherwise, everything else was great!”

”Very nice room on the second floor with high, vaulted, beamed ceilings. Room was clean, good-sized and equipped with refrigerator and microwave. TV was on the small side which was rare to see nowadays. Regardless, it did not take away from our stay, although hubby made a point to comment on it. Bathroom was also clean and the water pressure in the shower was quite good. It's not walking distance to DT but it's only a quick short drive. We definitely recommend and will gladly stay here...

”We were very impressed with the hotel cleaning and maintenance staff. They were extremely friendly and very helpful. Front desk staff were also very nice and accommodating. The pool and bar area is lovely, and we really enjoyed the live music! We weren’t sure why they charged $20 for parking so we parked safely on the street for free. ”

”For a Motel 6 (the first ever, apparently), this one can't be beat! The location is ideal and it's clearly been recently renovated and is quite nice. We were on the ground floor with peek-a-boo ocean view (2nd floor would be ideal), but it was quiet, super comfy bed, really nice shower. No complaints! ”
