”Room was just fine. For the price that I paid I couldn’t expect too much more. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of hot water in the air-conditioning worked great. There was a smell of cigarettes where the room had been smoked in, probably previously. But other than that, the room was just fine. No complaints.”

”UPON ARRIVAL YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. SO I TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. BACKED TRACKED AND LOOKED ELSEWHERE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF GOING DOWN OTHER ROADS, I WENT BACK AND WENT BACK TO PRIVATE RD AND WENT PASSED SIGN. THEN I SEEN ANOTHER SIGN WITH THE ADDRESS AND IT WAS NOT VERY BIG. COULD NOT SEE IT FROM THE SIGN THAT SAID PRIVATE. NORMALY WHEN YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. YOU DON'T GO PAST IT. I SUGGEST A SIGN THAT SAYS HICKORY HIDEOUT.”

”Perfect size for the two of us. The tall stools with the dining set felt unsafe for us likely due to being seniors. Found sitting on the porch facing the woods very pleasant. it had a table we used as an alternative. Decorated very nicely throughout. Quite, peaceful, Many scenic drives nearby. Beds are big and comfortable. Endless number of bathroom linens and abundant toiletries.”

”Cozy cottage nestled behind a beautiful historic mansion. Gardens are are lovingly cared for. Room is tidy and welcoming. Fresh cookies were a welcome site after long roadtrip. Drove into town —only about 2 miles— for dinner at a nice Italian restaurant. ”
