”My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. ”We loved the view of Kentucky. It was a very convenient hotel to Vevay, Louisville, and Tri-state area. We had beautiful room. Wish it had not allowed gold carts to park in prime parking. We had to park in the back twice because several golf carts were parked in front. Great breakfast, changes daily. The gym was okay, be nice if machines worked to show tv while running. I just watched phone instead. Felt safe no matter what time it was. The grounds are beautiful. You won't be sorry you stayed...

”My only complaint was the TV. It kept freezing up. Took us about 3 1/2 hours to watch a 2 hour movie. Get rid of the Vizio brand. The room was very large, the bed was really comfortable. The bathtub needs the stopper repaired but all in all it was a nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly.”

”The room was perfect. Very clean with a vintage yet elegant feel. The self check in was very simple and we had no issues. Madison Indiana was a quaint town with quite a variety of stores, shoppes, and restaurants. ”

Perfect for an 11 year old boy - he LOVED exploring the castle and grounds, and I loved the gorgeous furnishings and comfy room (and I’ll be honest, I also loved exploring the grounds).
