”For what we needed - a short break and central-ish location from which to explore the San Juan Islands and this part of the Pacific Northwest more broadly - this place was fine. BUT you MUST bring your earplugs! We were in room 120, which was a) directly underneath a 'line dancing in army boots' fetish group in 220 and b) right next to the world's noisiest ice machine which only seemed to be outdone in terms of noise by the people trying to talk over the volume of the machine while using it. ”The staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast looked good however, I only had coffee...you understand why later. Those are the good points. The room smelled horrific, I purchased a plug in to make it tolerable. Someone painted but didn't finish, the lamp shades had an assortment of hair collection, the bathroom wall had a nasty looking drip down the wall, a bubble of water was captured in the ceiling above the toilet that I feared would bust every time I used the bathroom.
