”This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. ”

”When we read all the reviews about this place we were slighlty sceptical; no place can be that good... After all those bloated expectations, it was always going to be hard to live up to them but we were still blown away by how amazing this place was and it was so much better than we imagined. ”Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!”

”The views were amazing and the breeze made it just fine without air conditioning. The villa was quiet and perfect and no one wanted to go home. Dominica is beautiful and the people are really kind and friendly. Next time we’ll hire a local driver because the roads are not for tourists.”

”Gorgeous views and a quaint location.The property was spectacular, and we fell in love with the town of Calibishie. Many neat attractions are located near the property ( Red Rocks, Gin Distillery-- walkable from the property and a must visit, Chocolate Factory, air port, beautiful beaches etc.). Be aware of the day of the and time of day when getting fuel if you have your own vehicle. Ultimately, this was a spectacular property!!! We would recommend it to anyone and we would certainly stay again...

”Had a really enjoyable week at the Blue Whale. Conroy helped us settle in with great communication along the way. We stayed in the Deluxe which had great space with two bedrooms and two baths. We booked Nigel, on the recommended list from BWV, as a hiking guide for a day. He was awesome, filled the day with just the right amount of hikes/sites, including a great spot for lunch. We would stay again. ”
