”Second time me and my wife have stayed at the white lion and it was no different to the first excellent place to stay clean room and great staff the only down side was the so called Indian restaurant sea spice very disappointing because it's not a genuine Indian restaurant. I think it's the only one in aldeburgh so I can see why people have to go there but it's not the real thing.”

”Lovely hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and very clean. Good value for money.
Beds and rooms were small and breakfast service slow (but we were warned of this beforehand!).
We had city view rooms and they were nicer than we expected, as there was a field and partial sea view anyway. There is no air con but good quality fans were provided as standard, as well as a single duvet upon request. A pleasant stay, would recommend it for couples more than friends/family sharing (due to bed...

”No air conditioning in bedroom and a 10.5 tog duvet on the bed in summer. Couldn't have the window open as room was on the ground floor and the safety cable, designed to stop the window being opened more than a couple of inches, was broken and hanging off. After enduring a very uncomfortable night I asked the receptionist if the duvet could be replaced with a lighter one. She said she would speak to housekeeping and that perhaps they could supply a couple of sheets if a duvet was not available....

”We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend”

”We had a fantastic few days away at the wentworth. Our room was over the road in villa/annex, very quiet large room with a lovely large bathroom and shower. Lovely little courtyard garden. The breakfast was very good. We a one meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Overall our stay was excellent and would we will definitely return. Would highly recommend”
