”Nice room, helpful reception lady (she recommended a good pizza place since dinner wasn't available anymore at our time of arrival.) As a small minus, there was no more hot water because of a high visitor count at the time. (The visitor count was high because of a maraton and the lobby was quite crowded.) As for the breakfast, it was delicious and the waffles were excellent”

”The Horse and Jockey was a great place to spend a few nights and have day trips around Ireland. It was really hot when we were there and they brought a fan to our room, that was great. The shampoo and body wash smell amazing! The breakfast was great and the servers were so nice each morning. I would definitely stay there again.”

”Front desk staff helpful. No lift so stairs to rooms but staff did carry luggage. Convenient location, lovely dinner in bar. Close to Irwin’s for drinks and music. Not sure why but we were told not to drink tap water and had to carry water from bar. Very close to Cahir castle.”

”Had a fantastic 3 nights at Mary’s beautiful b&b which is set in the most stunning location. Mary could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The weather was fantastic so we were able to sit and relax in the lovely courtyard. We’ll be back!”

”Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Everything worked smoothly, the room was comfortable, and the overall experience was very positive. The only small point to mention is that the rooms can be quite a long walk from the reception and breakfast area. We happened to have one of the furthest rooms, which was a little inconvenient at times, especially with family/luggage. Other than that, everything met our expectations, and we had an enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again.”

"Very city centre. Parking area behing the hotel, little tricky to find but plenty of room. We are always looking for original retro accommodations and this is it. Hotel itself is attraction. Definitely coming back on our next trip!"
