”We had a brief but great experience. The staff was super friendly, the food and coffee were delicious and it was a perfect location and visit for the campus. The place is wonderfully decorated with amazing touches from the paintings to the rugs. It brought out a lot of Husky Pride. Thank you”

”Pros:- kitchen is clean and well-equipped- beds are very comfortable- host was quick to respond to initial questions- parking was fine- huge decks overlooking the water are lovely- Washer/dryer was great to have- Host provided more than ample soaps, towels, TP, etc.Challenges:- Off-season, this area is pretty isolated - not a criticism, just helpful to know- The inside stairs are honestly scary - more like a ladder- Lighting throughout the house is dim- The couch cushions are pretty spent,...

”The house is cute but very small. In the pictures it looks bigger, also the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow so not ideal for older people. The house was also not clean very well. We found a dirty sweater and half full bottle of water in one of the rooms, a chewed dog bone full of hair in the living room couch, a bloom stain in one of the beds and there were also a few hair balls on the kitchen floor. If cleaned properly is not that bad.”

”Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. ”

”There was an odor in the house (probably dead rodent) that was very noticeable. When I messaged the host about it he said that “someone from his team “Would come check it out but no one came. I messaged him again the next day as well”
