”Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was lovely with the sea views and the gardens in front. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

”All in all it is what you would expect from a three star hotel, nothing really awful and nothig really great. Most of the recption staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately not all of them as one receptionist in particular made feel like a naughty school girl if I ever needed to ask her anything due to her curt and abrupt responses.

”The Derwent Hotel itself was good and the hotel receptionist helped a lot when we had an issue with the Spa service.
