”The staff on the bar the first night we stayed just didn't seem to want to be there. ”

”We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! ”

”Parking was easy and very secure. Unfortunately we didnt have an ocean view however we were very happy with the apartment, was very clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. Enjoyed our stay and would fo back”

”Looked ok in reception but that’s as good as it got , very out dated and not a great deal worked in the room . Very nearly boiled the kettle for a coffee in the morning before looking in it . Never seen anything like that before . When reeling off the stuff wrong with the room the staff were not bothered at all . Was charged £130 for the night and wouldn’t have paid £30 if I had a choice .”

”You had to enter the Hotel to appreciate how wonderful it is! The Restaurant was superb with a lovely menu far outstanding other Hotels of the same calibre!”

”A small newly renovated room . Comfortable bed. Lovely indoor pool but very busy , they need to introduce swimming times. Did not try outdoor pool as weather not brill . Need a lift . ”

”The Lodge was clean and presented well. However lounge furniture especially chair needed cleaning on the arms. Staff very helpful when i lost earring down the bathroom sink. However one thing not done after being highlighted was road night lights not working. We extended our stay as well.”
