”The air conditioning HVAC system is very loud when it kicks on. It makes a loud noise. Also, the bathrooms could use a refreshment, not necessarily a total makeover, but some improvements to refresh. Also, no coffee maker in the room by coffee is available in the lobby. The dark plum comforter on the bed is a nice touch maybe , but would prefer a lighter color as these dark colors can hide stains and what not.”

Just a heads up that the space at the lake is down over a steep hill, so be prepared to drive down if taking many things to enjoy around the fire pit. ”This vacation home was in the perfect location! Beautiful sunrise views from an impressive front patio. The property is very peaceful and spacious. We enjoyed our time at both ends of Seneca Lake. We walked Watkins Glen gorge trail and visited several wineries. Our favorite restaurant was Kinderd Fare in Geneva. After a full day of exploring we enjoyed some time around the fire pit. They have a great selection of DVD,s and games, even though we didn’t have the time to use them. We would...

”The home is just as pictured with easy access to Seneca Lake (literally steps from the front door), a shady side yard and a beautifully maintained dock. There is a portable A/C unit for the first floor (which includes the bunk room) and window units in each of the upstairs bedrooms. There were several fans also provided. Penn Yan is about 15 minutes away with some adorable shopping, along with a great coffee shop and bakery. And of course there are an abundance of nearby wineries.A few tips to...

”My sister and I had a great stay. The house is freshly remodeled with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was nicely appointed with basic supplies and condiments. Location was great for us to be able to hit our favorite wineries. Owner very responsive and provided an excellent notebook with instructions and local suggestions. Location is close to railroad tracks as pictured. We were not bothered by the one train that passed during our stay.”
