”We had an amazing time. The property was amazing, the views were amazing, we had meals together at the large table and even enjoyed the fire pit for some s'mores. ”

”It was a fine stay. Staff was nice, parking is a bit limited for a busy weekend, breakfast was average and edible. The cost of the stay is quite high for the experience. However, it is one of the only hotels in the area. They jacked the price becuase it was graduation weekend. We paid about $380 for one night. Nothing particularly bad about it. But nothing great either. ”

”This was the ideal place for what I needed. Total disconnect from everything! We were greeted by Dave, really nice guy. He oriented us to the cabin and surroundings. Cabin was very clean, welcoming, and looked like the pics. Dave had the wood burning stove going for us. The property is nestled in acres of wooded landscape. The next day we hiked for 4+ hrs, exploring as much as possible. I didn't want to leave. I will definitely go back!”

”Our return to Alfred University was very special, and we deeply appreciated the accommodations and hospitality provided by Steve and Luanne in their lovely, cozy home. It offered not only a great night’s rest, but also a warm and comfortable space to spend time with old friends. We were grateful for their availability, attention to our needs, and the delicious homemade banana bread. We would definitely return again.”

”The fan was essential in keeping the heat down from the loft area. It worked very well. Our purpose for being in the area was pancake breakfast, trip to PA for shopping and a quiet weekend. Mission accomplished. Peaceful setting over looking the Genesee River especially if you like woodstove and fire pit.”

”The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga”

”What a wonderful stay at the country cabin! It was for only 1 night but it was perfect! Watching the snow fall while relaxing on the couch with the fireplace was just great! It was clean, neat and had everything you need. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Our son will be attending Alfred State in the fall so we’re hoping to make this our stay place when we visit!!!”
