”I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again”

”Black Bear Lodge is amazing and the host is just as amazing! I highly recommend this place to stay if in the area if Caroga Lake. Clean and smells great. Recently renovated and a great place to make memories. ”

The house is in a wondeful location, beautifully decorated with little thoughtful touches throughout. Better than the pictures and you really did feel like you were coming home! ”Our Son has a Camp on Canada Lake and just loves this area - his camp was full with the grooms men and the brides mades rented Pine Lake Lodge which was also the venue we rented a huge tent and had a great caterer - 200 people - your HOME was wonderful I had my 80 year old parents, my other daughter and her fiance and another daugther in the house and we couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The accomdations were wonderful, the house was greatly appointed and we wanted for nothing...

”We had a great stay at the Balsam Inn! Everyone put their hearts into giving folks a great experience. My husband says the dinner was the finest he ever had, and I appreciated all the little things that made our travel easier (ice for coolers, a shared frig, absolutely lovely and plentiful bedding). We would definitely stay there again!”
