”This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. The kitchen is well equipped and also has beautiful views of the lake. All windows open to allow fresh air on warmer days. ”The house was clean and organized, well equipped. Excellent view of the lake. The deck could have been swept. It was full of acorns. I almost fell. It looked like it has not been swept for weeks. During our entire stay, we swept it when we got there and before we left. The train passing by the back of the house was adorable the first night but it disturbed our sleep the next nights. ”We were able to check in early and it went smoothly. Front desk was sweet and knowledgeable. She gave us ideas on places to go. It was also sweet she remembered I was visiting my 49th state, as we had a charcuterie plate and a sweet "congratulations" note waiting for us in our room the next day. The room was clean and the view of the lake was beautiful. Great location as we were in walking distance of the waterfront and the market. Would highly recommend. ”
