”An Old Fashioned (in the best sense of the word) lake side hotel with a creaky, quirky charm we found endearing. We stayed in a second floor room that might charitably be described as snug. However, the indoor and outdoor common areas, particularly the abundance of seating with westward facing views of the lake, more than make up for it. ”This hotel is conveniently located for visiting Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We went at a time when crowds were minimal. The view from our room, right on the lake, was stunning. The room has a larger than average room refrigerator/freezer, and was extremely clean. The mattress was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful. A perfect choice for a long weekend in mid-October.”

”I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and more spacious than I had expected. Modern/updated bathroom amenities (toilet, sink, shower) and television (with hulu/netflix/etc). Front desk is virtual so the only employees I saw were the cleaning staff on Sat/Sun morning. Rooms don't have central heating, so I wish I had known that portable room heaters would be on a first-come, first-served basis huddled around the (empty) front desk. ”We stayed at the Lake N Pines Motel. I couldn't say enough about the scenery! It's absolutely beautiful! The set up of the property is unique in a good way. The motel has separate sections which affords for some nice privacy. We had a second floor room with a private balcony overlooking the water. My favorite part was the gorgeous sunrise! The staff and people there are so friendly! I think I've found my favorite spot. A very nice place to relax.”
