”The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road. We also enjoyed the lack of TV/electronics as it was a good way to enjoy the scenery and unplug for the weekend. We did have to bring our own linens and towels which would...

”We (two couples) spent three nights here. The lake is beautiful and the stairs down to the lake are new and well-constructed. The house is really nice, with comfortable beds and pleasant bedrooms, an excellent common area leading to a pleasant porch. Backyard is a good space. Bathrooms and kitchens are well set up. The hosts are very nice and welcoming.”

”The location and view are great, and house is great for big groups. There was plenty of space for our group. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with ample space. The pizza oven took a little to get going, but the pizzas were great. We didn't get to take advantage of the trails or outdoors due to weather, but we definitely want to stay again and do some hiking and enjoy the outdoor space and view.”

”It was spacious and comfortable, lots of windows and light, beautiful view of the lake, and well built so people can branch off or hang out together. While it rained the whole time and we countny enjoy the lake as much it was still beautiful and we loved the porches and balconies”

”We stayed here with our teenage children. The teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the beach cottage. The dock & beach area was large enough for our group to enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, & jet skiing. Yes, as many of the reviews note there are many stairs at this property. If walking / stairs are an issue for you, this is not the place for you. The owner was very responsive. It was indeed a "cozy retreat" for our family. ”
