Whether you were in the pool, on one of the Muskoka chairs in the grassy area, or on your balcony, you had an absolutely beautiful sunset view over the St Lawrence, watching the ships come and go. The restaurant attached to the hotel should NOT be overlooked. ”My stay was wonderful!! We were in town for the 4th of July to view the fireworks in Alex Bay and this was the closest hotel I could get. While we wanted to do a little sightseeing, I so wish I could have had more time just to spend watching the river, utilizing pool and cooking out on the grill. We did use the firepit, which was great, just don't forget the bug repellent!!! They loved my Pennsylvania skin!! ”This stay was a homecoming for me, since my parents had lived right on the St. Lawrence, and nearly the entirety of my late mom's family still live nearby. The area is largely agricultural, with many dairy farms and green pastures. It is a truly beautiful part of NY State and we were very much looking forward to getting back there to visit. ”Great experience, beautiful room and decor. Easy access and parking. The kitchen and accessories were great. Complimentary items were appreciated. But bed was really soft and we could have used a few more clothes hangers.”

”The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and they were really accommodating the whole time. We had no problem extending our stay, and they even let us check out late without charging us extra. The beds were comfy, and the room was pretty spacious. For the price (same as a Super 8), it was way cleaner and way more comfortable. Definitely recommend if you are just looking for an affordable place to sleep!”
