”The owners and our wonderful breakfast maker are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It's a very nice place to stay while enjoying the many hikes in the area (Rainbow Falls, etc.). Comfort was great except that our room and bathroom were a bit crowded for my husband who is larger. The walls are thin if you have neighbors. The facilities are relaxing and nice. We enjoyed a nice (expensive) Italian meal at a fine restaurant next door. ”

”Lots of old-school charm in this historic home and beautiful property. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Anna and Richard were very welcoming, friendly and most attentive. The on-site waterfall and restaurant were an added bonus, and the food was excellent! I would definitely return again!”

”I surprised my husband with a 2 night stay for his birthday. We hiked, relaxed, dined on the porch, and felt like we were able to escape while at Shoal Sound. The accommodations were perfect - clean, spacious, homey, and comfortable! Bonus- The weather was amazing. ”
