”Based on my experience on last stay at Holiday Inn Jesmond I booked it also for my trip. The hotel is within short walk from the Metro so it was easy to come from the airport and also easy to head to the University. Stay at the hotel was good. The friendly staff helped me with adapter issues. ”

”Room was in the roof far too noisy not very clean around carpet rug edges especially at side & back of bed under table years of dust sadly .Noisy Hotel inside as well lots of people sharing rooms as people where knocking on doors to be let into rooms throughout the three nights we stayed hastent to add we got NO sleep what so ever & made us feel unwell pleased to come home . Staff were OK but not over helpful when Alarms for smoke detectors kept also going off on rooms near us also alarms going...

”A very nice hotel with facilities and right on the bank of the Tyne river. It was a very hot period and aircon excellent.
However sitting outside overlooking the river at very run and rotten tables. My beer almost fell over as the hole was so big. Grass stumps were growing under the table. A little TLC was needed to make it nice to look over to a fabulous city.
We loved our 3 night stay”

”Let’s get the negatives out of the way - breakfast quality was dubious - not sure how they made scrambled eggs and cramped buffet area. The hotel is, of course, a Victorian railway hotel. The front windows need a clean. This is our second visit. Rooms are good. Would I rush back??? Probably not, but central location is a positive and parking (albeit at cost). The instructions if you are parking a car should be in capitals. THE PARKING ENTRANCE LOOKS LIKE A TAXI/STATION ENTRANCE. If you miss you...
