”A surprisingly nice location looking over Seaburn beach with an array of nearby eateries and bars.
A few issues that were disappointing were that firstly the leisure facilities were all closed for renovations during our stay. This wasn’t notified on the booking site. It was part of our reason for booking so disappointed to be told only on arrival.
Secondly the price was hiked from any other Saturday evening by 250%, as the great north run was taking part on the day of our departure. An...

”Room was nice and spacious. Check in was excellent.
Leisure facilities were not up to a good standard. Changing rooms and showers were not clean, the swimming pool and jacuzzi were unbelievably cold. One of the jacuzzi’s was taped up and not working. Sauna was average and busy I think because no one could use the pool due to the temperature.”

”Good (cheap) location. Comfortable bed. Flooring in room had cracked making it look a bit shabby. Book breakfast online but pointless doing so, as still had to pay, went to breakfast and got locked out of our room after. Bit of bacon on the floor which just stayed there. Buffet a bit untidy, cereal everywhere. Appreciate it’s a busy day but no real excuse.
Have stayed before a few times now. Normally good/ v good, today just okay”
