”For a lodge charging $500 per night for a standard king room, we expected a peaceful, relaxing experience in the Catskills. Unfortunately, our stay was the opposite. The biggest issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Our bed was positioned directly against the wall behind the main entrance door, so every time someone entered the lodge, it sounded as if they were coming into our room. We could hear conversations, every door slamming, and virtually all the noise from the common areas. On...

”Graham & Co. is unfortunately an excellent example of the inflationary nature of our experiences at present. The owners have repurposed a property that was probably in disuse, in a very basic way and is capitalizing on the beautiful surroundings of the Catskill mountains to overcharge for the accommodation. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. However, the towels were worn ( one had rust on it as did the towel hooks and various screw heads) the walls were bare, the toilet continued to...

”Views were spectacular. On site hiking trails and lots of local trails and parks. Food nearby was great. Lots of options”

”Nice hotel. Reception staff had great tips for hiking trails in the Catskills.”

”We thought that the setting was very nice but we had some issues. Not all of the blinds closed. The soap/body wash/shampoo dispensers were faulty and we had to remove the dispensers in order to use. Couldn’t regulate the heat and were either cold or hot. There was a family with children above us and there was constant thumping from above. The construction of the place did not provide for adequate noise mitigation. I think if we had stayed one night,or even two, it might not have been as...

”I had the luck to stay at Sure stay by best western recently. I am very satisfied with every aspect of this hotel: cleaners, consistent politeness and kind help from every staff members : over the phone before my arrival and after my arrival, whoever in contact are all warm and ready to help. The last day Natalia was the one to manage the breakfast: she constantly went to the kitchen area to make sure its cleanness by cleaning every table after clients left, yet with smile all the time. Thank...

”I cannot recommend this hotel enough- from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the comfort of the beds and sitting area couch, to the delicious breakfast each morning. It has everything I needed plus some. And the staff are great!”

”One female receptionist on duty spoiled our initial experience to the point of no return. We called ahead for early check in availability and were told that it would cost $50 per hour. We said we'd drive up and see what time we got there. We were there at ~ 1:45 pm. I asked what time we could check in and without even checking the availability she told me abruptly " Check in is at 3:00pm.!" I checked online, there were 7 identical rooms to mine vacant. Continental breakfast.....The...
